We purchased ImageMaster because we were literally being run out of our office by file cabinets. Our file system was a mess: there was not enough time to get the filing done, and therefore, when someone needed a file it was not where it was supposed to be. ImageMaster totally solved our space problem and also the problem of "missing files".

Before ImageMaster we would have quite a few "hang-ups" each day as an impatient person on the phone would not wait while the collector went to pull the file. Now with ImageMaster this just does not happen! We are able to keep the customer on the phone by having immediate access to their file.

ImageMaster really does increase productivity and efficiency immeasurably. I would recommend ...(this solution)... not only for offices with an overabundance of paper, but also for smaller offices as well.

My decision to purchase ImageMaster arose out of two factors.

We were running out of space for the storage of our open files and were spending considerable sums in filing documents in the individual files...the physical retrieval and replication of a document is faster than getting the file and locating the document. I don't have to tell you that time is money, and every time we retrieve a scanned document, we save money when compared to the traditional paper storage method. We purchased ImageMaster in an attempt to alleviate some of the paper that is going through this office. Now, we no longer open hard files on any file prior to filing suit. This saves on costs of files, labels, and especially salaries. In addition, it is simply a pleasure to be able to pull a document up on the screen while you are on the phone with another attorney and answer his questions.

We have a separate database for closed files, and we are taking old files from storage and slowly but surely scanning them and disposing of them. We also have a separate database for our bills so that we do not have to look through old bills but can look through the scan.

We purchased ImageMaster because it interfaced beautifully with Collection-Master which is our primary collection software. We wanted immediate document retrieval from our desktops and the ability to reproduce the documents if necessary. As we have been using ImageMaster for three or so years, it is hard to tell how much paper storage has been curtailed. However, we have scanned approximately 450,000 documents, ranging from 1 page to 100 pages or more.
